My current photography work is primarily portraiture with a focus on social advocacy. Most of my time currently goes into a project I founded in 2023 called All the Genders Photo Project. This project highlights stories of people across the United States using both photographs and written words. I take photos of people anywhere that they feel connected to. Stories are shared on social media platforms, a website, and will be compiled into a series of books. My photography and conversational style tends to set people at ease during sessions, particularly those of us in the LGBTQ+ population who often struggle to find inclusive photographers who are comfortable with our diverse identities.
I also shoot regular portrait sessions and headshots outside of All the Genders Photo Project. Portraits for both solos and partners are taken in an environmental style (no studio is available).
I identify as an LGBTQ+ person being pansexual, transgender and gender fluid. A few other pieces of my life's journey that drive the importance I place on visibility of diverse life experiences include navigating my neurodivergent ways and reckoning with PTSD symptoms that wax and wane with life's tides.
