We are approaching another transition as we look towards the crisp and cooler days of autumn and leave behind summer days of fun in the sun.
During these times, we naturally, like nature, begin to shift and the way we move through life adjusts to the new way things evolve around us. This presence in change, this connection we have where we are more harmonious with being and doing as nature does, always reminds me of how connected we really are. We live most of our lives functioning as individual beings and that is of course expected and has its own glory. In the times and moments when we allow ourselves to settle into how we are beautifully unique but also connected to this larger more full existence, we somehow ease into a deeper understanding of who we are and how beautiful it is to belong to the whole.
It has been very fitting in my recent experiences in business, and in being, that as I build my presence and meeting so many new people, I am feeling the power of meaningful and authentic connections more intently. Grace in the transitions and intentionality in developing bonds has taken center stage in my mind and design.
With Alodeuri and each piece of jewelry I design and craft, there has to be attention to this power in connection and how these pieces are an extension of me in connection with you. There is energy transference not only in each component I touch, but in emotion, ideas and function.
Chains have been a prevailing adornment in this season, they are so special because they symbolize the power in keeping yourself grounded in strength, purpose, balance, and continuous connection. The links mirror what we strive to do - to connect, to be empowered, held together and to do the same for others. This process, the cutting of each piece of wire, adding each bead, making the loops, and connecting them all together one by one is so intentional.
Each one of these steps gets attention and care. It requires focus to make sure that each cut keeps the design in mind, that each bead is considered and selected with purpose, and that each loop maintains the integrity intended in the piece. I want the energy to be fluid and meaningful in nurturing you each time you wear it and allow it to beautifully express a part of your and your journey in this world.
I LOVE making a chain. These emotions, values, and thoughts are centered in the process of creating the small and powerful components that will ultimately come together to create this beautiful and harmonious statement. I LOVE wearing them (lots all at once) because seeing, hearing, and feeling them brings me joy and reminds me of my small but nighty place in this world and my journey with you all.
Life and art often align and each time someone buys a chain bracelet or necklace, I feel even more assured that each of us in one way or another is seeking to be connected and want to find our way to feelings of stability and being a part of something more than ourselves.
Adorn with presence, love and intention.
